Christmas Gift Guide 2016 ♡

Are you stuck on what to get friends and family for Christmas? If so keep reading and hopefully this post will help. I have come up with 6 categories of some types of people/types of gifts, hopefully atleast one of them will help you!

Beauty Lovers

Depending on how much you want to spend on the person will depend on what you can get them. If you have a high budget (above £20) some products that I would recommend are Too Faced palettes, an Urban Decay setting spray, a Kylie Lip Kit, a MAC lipstick, a No.7 mirror, the Nars Creamy Concealer, a Morphe palette, the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer and a Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit. I have already tried out a few of these products and love them so I’m sure that your friends and family will too. For some of these gifts you will have to know the person quite well as you don’t want to choose the wrong shade.

If you have a smaller budget, places like Boots/Superdrug are just right for you! I would recommend Real Techniques brushes, a NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, an Essie nail varnish, a Sleek Matte Me, a Revolution eye shadow palette and the Sleek Highlighter palette. If you know the persons every day makeup well, then you could easily buy them one of the products they use ready for when it runs out.

Even easier, you could always buy the person a gift voucher for their favourite makeup shop online or in store so that they can get exactly what they want and you won’t struggle to find the right shade.

Creative People

If you have a creative family member or friend you could get them a photo album, a diary, a notebook, a sketch book, a camera case, new pens or paints. Depending what the person enjoys doing will depend on what you get them. The items listed above are aimed at people that enjoy photography, drawing and painting. However, if you had someone that loves fashion design you could find them a book all about it.

Cozy Gifts

You can never go wrong with something cozy during the winter times. Even though these gifts are quite basic, I know that I would love to receive them and so would many other people. Some items you could get are a mug, fluffy socks, some hot chocolate/coffee/tea (the persons favourite), a hat/scarf, a jumper, pyjamas (Primark have great prices), a new film, a candle, a blanket and some bath bombs. Many of these products go hand in hand with eachother and you can personalise it to whatever the person likes. This will also make it look like you’ve made more of an effort.

Skincare/Body Gifts

In the colder months we need to make sure our skin stays refreshed and not dry, some gifts for this could be hand cream, Body Shop sets and Soap and Glory sets. Sets make gifts a lot easier and who doesn’t love The Body Shop or Soap and Glory? You can’t really go wrong. Some other gifts you could get are body sprays (I recommend Victoria’s Secret ones), a perfume or nail varnish.

General Gifts

If you are really stuck and don’t know the person well enough to know what they like I recommend chocolate, a phone case, a book, flowers, fairy lights, some simple earings or a photo of them and a friend of theirs in a frame.

Personal Gifts

If you want to show a massive effort this Christmas some gifts I recommend are an album full of photos, a personalised calendar, a personalised sign or a mason jar filled with things you love about the person and why they make you happy.

I really hope that this post was helpful, please let me know if it was in the comments. Hopefully there will be some more Christmas-themed posts to come!
