Urban Decay Naked Skin Review ♡

Concealers have always been one of my favourite makeup products and when I see a new one I can’t help but buy it. After seeing the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer being raved about all over the internet for ages I recently decided to get it.

I purchased mine from Debenhams for £17.50 which for a high-end concealer is good. I bought mine in the lightest shade which is fair/neutral. The day after I bought it I was so excited to try it out and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

Normally I really struggle finding a concealer good enough to cover my under eye darkness, but this one does perfectly. It’s high coverage yet doesn’t feel cakey at all and as the packaging says it feels “weightless”.

Concealers never normally stay in one fixed place under my eyes and always seem to smudge (probably because of the oily-ness of my skin). However, this stayed on all day, didn’t move at all and didn’t crease. I was so impressed!

The concealer has a normal applicator which picks up the right amount of product meaning none goes to waste. It does have a scent but its really hard to describe, personally I’d say it smells quite sweet but its not strong enough that its off-putting.

The only downfall to this product is that I wouldn’t use it for covering spots as this shade is better for brightening and I have other concealers which are more suited to covering spots.

When I visited my local Debenhams they didn’t have many concealers on show meaning not everyone was able to find the perfect one for their skin. If you are having trouble finding the right shade for you, you are probably better buying it from the Urban Decay website here as this has many more shades than in store.

I can definitely see myself re-purchasing this product when it runs out because I love it and it is so worth the money. I’m also considering trying out the Nars Creamy Concealer as I have also heard many great reviews about that. If you are a lover of high coverage, brightening concealers, you will absolutely love this one and I definitely recommend that you pick it up!

Thank you so much for reading! I really hope you enjoyed this post. Sorry for this being my first post back this year, I have had exams which have taken up all of my free time but now that they are over my posts will be back to normal.

    1. I haven’t tried the foundation but haven’t heard any good/bad things about it, will probably stay away from it. I’ve heard amazing things about the Tarte concealer and would love to try it! Definitely on my wish list:)
