Being someone who has dark under eye circles and a lot of redness on their skin, I am always looking for new products to try and cover it. When coming across the MUA Pro-Base Prime and Conceal Creams I knew that I had to try them out. I picked up the lilac and green ones as I had read online that green was great for covering redness and lilac for covering dark circles.
I have tested these out a few times and have become a lot more comfortable using them over time. At first, I didn’t want to put too much on as I was scared of it showing through the rest of my makeup, however, after applying the rest of my makeup it was not visible at all!
I apply these 2 products after primer. I start with the lilac under my eyes and blend that out using a small concealer brush, then take the same brush and use the green to cover as much of my redness as possible. After blending you can still see the colours but as soon as you apply your foundation over it, it is completely covered over.
I’m so impressed with these 2 products and they were only £2 each! I love the look that they give off as they help your skin look so flawless and healthy. I normally find it so hard finding a product that will cover my under eye circles but the lilac shade worked amazingly. Even though I was impressed by the green shade, it is very similar to others I have tried from other brands such as NYX, the one that I have from NYX is £5.50 and you get a lot more product for not a lot more in price.
Even though I had used the lilac to cover my under eye circles, I still took my Collection Lasting Perfection under my eyes to hide them even more. This combination worked amazingly and I loved the way that the concealer was still blendable even though it had foundation and the cream under it.
The only problem I have found with these is how fast they go down, as you will be able to see in the picture, I have already hit pan on the green shade as quite a lot is needed in one use.
Overall, I can definitely see myself re-purchasing the lilac shade when it runs out but as for the green shade I will probably just stick to my NYX one as they give off exactly the same affect.

Always been too scared to try these, haha! Thanks for posting this. Do you know roughly how long it took to hit pan on the green? 🙂

You should definitely give them a go. I’d definitely say I had over 8 uses out of it but because I have so much redness I have to use a lot x
