Florida 2017 Photo/Travel Diary

As you may be aware (if you follow me on Instagram), I have just returned from my family holiday to Florida. Florida is definitely one of my favourite places to visit as you create so many memories every time and its such a happy place. I was lucky enough to be able to visit all of the Disney parks in Florida and it was amazing to be able to experience them all over again. I love seeing travel and photography posts so have decided to  share with you what I got up to and show you some of the many photos that I took on this trip.

On the very first day of the holiday, me and my family visited Epcot. This park is well known for the giant ball and its different sections for different countries. I love this park as it enables you to see many parts/features of countries that you may not have seen before. At Epcot, I met my all time favourite princess, Snow White. Every time I visit Epcot I love to get a photo with her so that I can see how I have changed over the years I have been.

As we were in America for the 4th of July, we couldn’t not celebrate with everyone. We decided to visit Disney’s Magic Kingdom (even though we knew it would be packed) as they had a 4th of July inspired firework display. This is definitely the best firework display I have ever seen, they definitely know how to put on a show!

On our trip, we also spent a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This used to be one of our favourite parks, however, this year we were quite disappointed. Many parts of this park were closed due to them expanding and re-building. We still made the best out of the day and enjoyed watching all of the shows, these including Beauty and The Beast (a must watch) and the Ariel show.

Another day of the holiday was spent at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Being someone who hates most rides, this park is perfect for me because there are so many other things you can do. I especially enjoyed going on the safari, watching the Nemo show and exploring the new Pandora section. Even though I know nothing about the Avatar films, the new Pandora world was so interesting and looked lovely.

Even though we had already visited magic Kingdom for July 4th, we decided to go again as we didn’t get to do everything we wanted. This park has got a new parade called the Festival of Fantasy, we were lucky enough to get there early and get a really good space to watch from. The parade was amazing and meant you got to see all/most of your favourite Disney characters. I definitely recommend going to watch this parade if you are planning on visiting Disney. For old time sake me, my mum and sister went on the Tea Cups ride.

Even though I’m not the biggest fan of the beach (because of how easily I burn), we took 2 trips to St Petersburg beach. Every beach I have visited in Florida is amazing, the water is always so warm and blue. Its always nice to have some chill days on a holiday which is quite jam packed.

Another thing which me and my family do every time we visit Florida, is go for a walk around Celebration. Celebration is a place filled with massive, gorgeous houses which are perfect in every way (residents even don’t hang their washing outside as they don’t want to ruin the aesthetic). They have such beautiful scenery there, it is every photography lovers dream.

We got up to so many other things on this holiday including; water parks, shopping and eating out (a lot). Unfortunately this post could go on forever so I haven’t been able to include everything but hopefully you enjoyed reading about some of what we got up to.

I’m so grateful to have been able to go on this trip and can’t thank my parents enough. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Florida or Disney then I definitely recommend that you take it as you will have the best time of your life.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed. If you would like to follow me on Instagram or Twitter you can find me at @bethxkate.
