Autumnal Evening Skincare Routine

After seeing so many people loving the Body Shop’s Vitamin E range, when I stumbled across a set of 3 on sale for £14 in an outlet, I knew that I had to give it a try. The set included the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser, the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash and the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. Unfortunately I don’t think these come in a proper set which is available in stores (however, I may be wrong), the only reason I managed to get them all for the bargain price of £14 was because I found them in an outlet.

I wear makeup on a daily basis so having a good skincare routine is essential for me as I like for my skin to feel fresh. I always start by applying the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser to my face and rubbing this everywhere. I’m obsessed with this as it gets all of my makeup off with such ease. Normally, I find getting mascara off quite difficult and I really have to rub my eyes, however, with this, it simply melts off and comes off straight away once washing the cleanser off with a flannel.

Every other night, after using the cleanser, I will then apply the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash all over my face (bar my eyes). This feels very gentle on this skin and once taken off, leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and soft. I haven’t noticed the biggest difference from this yet but will definitely continue using it to see if it does change anything.

Finally, I will use the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. I always use this at the end of my routine as it gets off any extra makeup which has been left behind (which is usually very little). I also have noticed that this has been preventing black heads very well as I often see some coming off on the cotton pad (sorry if that’s TMI). My skin feels great after using this as the product is filled with amazing ingredients.

To finish off, I always end my routine with a moisturiser. Recently, I have been using different moisturisers as I am trying to use the ones I already own up so that I can buy the one from the Vitamin E range as I am eager to see if it lives up to the other products from this range.

The smell of the Vitamin E range is very fresh and clean, when using the products I can definitely tell that it isn’t harming my skin and that the ingredients are all good for my skin. I’ve noticed such a good difference after using these for about a month, my oiliness has definitely been reduced and my skin has cleared up massively!

I was very lucky in the fact that I found this set in a pack for £14, however, they are very reasonably priced anyway. The cleanser is £7.50 and can be found here, the facial wash is also £7.50 and can be found here, and the toner is also £7.50 and can be found here. So overall this trio can be bought for £22.50. If you don’t want to spend this on yourself then this range if a great idea to ask for for Christmas, I know that I will definitely be putting some of it on my list.

Overall, I’m so happy that I tried out this range and am excited to soon try out more. I’d definitely recommend this range to everyone as I feel like it can work for so many skin types. Let me know in the comments if you have tried this range and what you think of it if you have as I’m very interested.

  3. I absolutely swear by this range! I use it all year round. My skin is sooo much more hydrated. I started with one moisturiser and have now branched out to both the day and night moisturisers, the serum, cleaner and toner ❤️ I have combination-dry skin but haven’t found anything that combats both dryness and oil yet (the seaweed range wasn’t hydrating enough for me). I’m so happy to have gotten rid of those pesky dry patches that makeup used to cling to at least. The Body Shop always has offers on aswell, which is really handy!

  4. Body shop has such great skincare lines! I’ve tried a few things from the Vitamin E range but the green tea range is definitely my favourite. I’m currently using a loreal face wash and simple moisturiser which is perfect for my skin. Lovely post xx
