I recently came across an amazing deal for the #AmazonBeauty box so knew I had to pick it up and give it a try. The box includes 9 different beauty products, some of these being full size products and others being samples. The contents include: the Rimmel London Fix and Go Setting Spray, NIP + FAB Glycolic Fix Cleansing Pads, WUNDER2 Dual Precision Brush, the Bourjois Rouge Laque Liquid Lipstick, a Sally Hansen Manicure Polish, the LOreal Paris 3 Pure Clays Multi-Masking Face Mask Play Kit, the Yardley London Floral Fragrance Collection (samples), a Bio-Oil Skin Care Oil (sample size) and finally, the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.
This box cost £14.99 but there is currently a deal on where you can earn £14.99 in credit so the box ends up being free (hopefully this deal will still be on after this post has been published).
I have already tried a few of the items within the box so am going to give you my opinions on them. I am obsessed with using the LOreal Clay masks as I have previously tried out the charcoal one and noticed quite the difference in my skin. The set within this box includes all 3 of the masks, one for purity, one for detox and one for glow. I think its great that this is included in the box as it means you can try out all of the masks before you go and buy the full size version. You also get a very decent amount of the mask within this sample, I’d say enough for atleast 4 uses.
Another product which I have already tried out is the Rimmel #Insta Fix and Go (2 in 1 primer and setting spray). This has a strong cucumber smell which is slightly off-putting but you do get a lot of product and I did notice that it held my base makeup together well. The spray is also a little bit annoying as it makes the product drip down your face, this may just be mine though as it could be faulty.
I have also tried out the Bourjois Rouge Laque Liquid Lipstick in the shade ‘Bloody Berry’. This is a very autumn/winter colour which I love, however, it is quite bright and bold. The pigmentation is amazing as it only needs 2 coats for a full on look. I also really like that it isn’t very drying as many other liquid lipsticks feel horrible and dry in to the cracks of your lips, this one doesn’t do that, it sits nicely on top and is comfortable to wear.
Another of the products that I have tried out is the WUNDER2 Dual Precision Brush, this brush includes a spoolie on one end and a filling brush on the other. The brush part to fill in your eyebrows a very good shape and it is sturdy so you can be sure of it being precis, as I do not fill in my eye brows much I wont get much usage out of this end but I use spoolies on a day-to-day basis to separate eyelashes or to brush out my eyebrows so this end will be great for me. This brush is very good quality so I will definitely be checking out some of the others from this brand.
The rest of the products in this box, I am yet to try out but am very excited to. I have heard many great reviews about the NIP + FAB Daily Cleansing Pads so if they work well for me I will definitely let you know in a future post. Sally Hansen nail varnishes are always great and live up to the same good quality every time so I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of this one. The one I got is in the shade ‘I Pink I Can’ which is a bright, light pink so I will probably get more usage out of this in the summer. The Yardley London Perfumes are all very strong floral scents which aren’t really my thing as I prefer musky scents so I will most likely give these samples away. The Bio oil sample is a great travel size and I’m sure I’ll get usage out of it (even though its very small). I’m also looking forward to trying the Cetaphil Skin Cleanser as it smells very fresh and it is from a brand that I have never tried out before.
Overall, I definitely think this box was a good find (especially with the deal at the moment), the products inside definitely add up to more than the cost of the box so you are saving money and getting some very good quality products. I am interested in trying out more boxes like this so keep an eye out as there may be some future posts similar to this one.
