Who doesn’t love cheap, good quality makeup? I often find that some products from the drugstore are better than high-end so have decided to share with you my favourite 10 products which are all £10 or under. The first product which I love and is under £10 is the Bourjois 24 Hour Eye Primer which is £6.99. I got this for Christmas and have been loving it so much (even more than my Urban Decay Primer and its more than half the price!). This keeps my eye shadow on really well and stops it from moving around.
The next product is the Body Shop Matte Clay Foundation which is £10. I was recently recommended this by a blogger on Twitter so had to get it as it looked great for oily skin. After using it many times, I now understand why so many people love it. It has very good, build-able coverage and lasts all day. The only issue that I have had it that it sometimes will go slightly patchy on my nose (but many foundations do). Definitely recommend this to anyone with oily skin!
The next product, you will have seen absolutely everywhere and it doesn’t need any explanation to why I love it, it is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. This is only £3.99 and works so well for brightening my under eyes, I am yet to find a under eye concealer that has topped this!
A highlighter which I love from the drugstore is the IHEARTMAKEUP Goddess of Love, which is £4.99 at Superdrug. You get so much product within this and I love how the packaging looks just like something you could get from Too Faced. It has very good pigment and can be easily built up.
A lip product which I’m obsessed with is the Sleek Matte Me in ‘Birthday Suit’. I have worn this so much and still have a lot of product left. It is a gorgeous pinky nude which goes so well with many makeup looks, it also isn’t too drying and sits nicely on your lips. This is only £4.99 from Superdrug.
Another product which you will have probably heard loads about is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. This has to be the best drugstore mascara that I have ever tried as it gives my lashes so much more volume and makes them much longer. This is only £8.99 and lasts ages, definitely give this a try if you haven’t already!
I have done a whole post about the 2 Revolution Eyeshadow palettes that I own which can be found here. I still get so much usage out of these and think that they are so great considering their price. I’m so excited to try more of their eye shadow palettes as they look amazing. For £4, can you really go wrong??
Another primer which I love using is the Collection Primed and Ready. This creates a perfect base ready for foundation and helps to stop your pores from showing. I use this on a daily basis and still have so much product left. I definitely notice a difference when using this as it does help my makeup stay on and look better for longer. This is only £3.99 at Superdrug.
The next concealer, you will probably have also heard of before but it is the Maybelline Anti-Age Rewind which is available at Superdrug for £8.99. I know that many people love to use this for their under eyes, however, I find it works much better for covering spots and adding coverage. The shade range of these isn’t the best but the product is still good and affordable.
Finally, the last drugstore makeup item in my top 10 is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. The biggest downfall with this is that it is only available in America, however, you can still order it online from Amazon and Ulta. If you click here, you can find it on Amazon (this is the cheapest online that I have found it). This is around the $10 mark but once converted in to pounds it works out slightly cheaper. I love this bronzer so much as it adds such a healthy look to your skin. It is very build-able and has a lovely summery scent.
Let me know some of your favourite drugstore items in the comments below! I’m always looking for new products to try out.
