I am lucky enough to regularly receive PR from PIXI by Petra which I am so grateful for. I recently got sent an amazing package with their new eye shadow palettes and some of their gorgeous brushes! I have been testing the Natural Beauty palette for a while and wanted to review it for today’s post.
On Saturday, the 19th of January, it was my 18th birthday. I had an amazing day, I spent the morning with my family and then all of my friends came over in the evening for a house party. If you read a recent post of mine called my gift swapping with Ellie, then you will have seen that she kindly gifted my the Revolution mini eye shadow palette in Rose Gold. As soon as I opened this gift, I was so excited to try it. I have never experimented with using pink shadows on my eyes very much so this provided me with the perfect excuse too!Continue reading “Revolution Rose Gold Palette Review + Look”
I always like to pre-plan my hair, makeup and outfit ready for Christmas day as I always seem to be so busy and in a rush to get ready before all of the family come over at lunch time! I love reading posts like these so thought I’d share my own version. This makeup may change on the actual day but it is what I am planning on wearing! It definitely isn’t a look that I would wear everyday as you have to go slightly extra for Christmas:)Continue reading “Christmas Day 2018 Makeup Look – Cruelty Free”
As Halloween is quickly approaching, me and Ellie from TheDiaryofEllie decided to collaborate on a post where we each do a Halloween inspired makeup look. For my look I went with a pumpkin theme as I own a lot of orange eye shadows but don’t use them as much as I would like to. Remember to check out Ellie’s version of this post also by clicking here, her blog is amazing and I can’t wait to see the look that she comes up with.
I was recently sent the biggest PR parcel that I have ever received in my 3 years of blogging which was from PIXI! They sent their collaborations with Weylie Hoang, Dulcee Candy and Chloe Morello which I am so grateful for and the PR team were so lovely so thank you so much to PIXI. Since receiving them, I have already gotten so much use out of the Let’s Talk Eyes and the Sweet Glow palettes so thought I’d share my opinions on them in this post.
As you may have seen in the past, me and Ellie from thediaryofellie.com have collaborated on blog posts and as we have become such good friends, we decided to do a blogger box swap where we set a limit of £15 (which we both went over) and we each got to pick out a few options for one another to try out, we also set the criteria that ideally, the products would be cruelty free. I was so excited to do this post as I have never done anything like it before and love buying for other people! If you want to see Ellie’s version of this post where she opens up my parcel to her then click here (and don’t forget to follow her). Continue reading “Blogger Box Swap with Ellie”

In the Black Friday sales, I came across the Zoeva Caramel Melange eye shadow palette on Beauty Bay and it was reduced to £14 from £18 so I had to get it! Before owning this palette, I had never tried any products from Zoeva but had heard many great reviews so had high expectations. In this post, I will be sharing with you my thoughts on the palette and showing you some of the looks that I have created using it!
Autumn is definitely my favourite time of the year for eye shadow as all of the darker colours start coming out again! I love hazelnut, orangey and gold shades and use them all throughout the Autumn season. This year I’m hoping to experiment more with darker shades, especially around Halloween time so look out for some future looks. Today I have decided to share with you an Autumnal eye shadow look as it is almost Autumn (the best season) so I thought I’d give you some ideas ready.
