Winter is always the time of the year that my skin doesn’t enjoy, I’m used to having really oily skin and having to re-powder throughout the day. However, in Winter, my skin is the complete opposite, it is really dry and sometimes flaky which I hate!! In this post I will be talking through the products that have helped my skin throughout this period and showing you my winter skincare routine.Continue reading “Winter Skincare Must-Haves #gifted”
If you follow me on Instagram, then you will have seen that a while ago I received a lovely press package from the team over at PIXI. With skincare products I always like to test them for a while before I review them so I can test if they are actually making a difference, in this post I will be telling you all of my thoughts!
As you may have seen in the past, me and Ellie from thediaryofellie.com have collaborated on blog posts and as we have become such good friends, we decided to do a blogger box swap where we set a limit of £15 (which we both went over) and we each got to pick out a few options for one another to try out, we also set the criteria that ideally, the products would be cruelty free. I was so excited to do this post as I have never done anything like it before and love buying for other people! If you want to see Ellie’s version of this post where she opens up my parcel to her then click here (and don’t forget to follow her). Continue reading “Blogger Box Swap with Ellie”
Throughout the past few months, I have found many new things that I love, however, there hasn’t been enough to do an individual ‘favourites’ post for certain months. So I have kept these things in order for this post which contains things that I have been loving for the past few months.
After seeing so many people loving the Body Shop’s Vitamin E range, when I stumbled across a set of 3 on sale for £14 in an outlet, I knew that I had to give it a try. The set included the Vitamin E Cream Cleanser, the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash and the Vitamin E Hydrating Toner. Unfortunately I don’t think these come in a proper set which is available in stores (however, I may be wrong), the only reason I managed to get them all for the bargain price of £14 was because I found them in an outlet. Being someone who wears makeup on a regular basis, I know the importance of skincare and that makeup needs to be taken off well so that your skin doesn’t get clogged and get spotty. I have tried out so many skincare products, from higher end to drugstore and surprisingly my favourites are all from the drugstore.
I love coming across new skincare brands as always have trouble finding good products for my skin. I stumbled across many posts on Instagram of people loving Anatomicals’ products so knew that I had to try some out myself. I was lucky enough to receive 6 products from the company, these being; the day and night spot stick, never lose your cherry lip balm, the memorably good daily moisturiser, the chocolate anti-stress mask, the tropical hydrating face mask and the apricot face scrub.
As the cold yet cozy Winter is now upon us, I have decided to share with you what I have been loving throughout the months September, October and November. I can’t believe how close we already are to Christmas! If there are any Christmas themed blog posts you would like me to do please leave some suggestions in the comments below. Ever since finding Miss Patisserie in my local town I have been loving it! I received lots of their products for my last birthday and now that they have all been used up I decided to go back in and pick some more up. Continue reading “Miss Patisserie ♡”
Skincare is an essential to me since I wear makeup almost every day and need to make sure it doesn’t affect my skin. I recently decided to try out some new products as my current products I was using didn’t seem to be making much of a difference.
