If you follow me on Instagram, then you will have seen that a while ago I received a lovely press package from the team over at PIXI. With skincare products I always like to test them for a while before I review them so I can test if they are actually making a difference, in this post I will be telling you all of my thoughts!
As a current student in my first year of sixth form (year 12), I am first hand experiencing the pressures which school’s put on to their students about going to university and making vital decisions about what they want to do with their lives.
Starting up a blog can be a very daunting thing, when I decided to go solo with my blog, I was nervous that I would get no followers and wouldn’t know what I was doing because I wasn’t used to WordPress as my old blog which was shared with a friend was all on Blogger. For today’s post I thought it would be a nice idea to share some advice with you incase you want to further the success of your blog or start one up!
For the past year I have been keeping a scrap book of all of my memories as I have always loved collecting photos/items wherever I go and thought that this would make the best use out of them all and it’s also a lovely way to look back old memories!
As I am writing this post it is the 14th of June, 2018 and this morning I sat my driving test and passed which I’m over the moon about! As a 17 year old, learning to drive seemed like a daunting thing for me but I always knew that I wanted to do it for the freedom and its such a great skill to have. In this post, I will be sharing some advice based on my learning experience as reading posts like this did help me!
Me and Ana from Ana’s Lil Blog had the idea of doing a collab post together about out summer lip picks. Ana is a lot more experimental with makeup than me so her post is going to revolve around her bold summer lip picks whereas mine is to do with my favourite nude shades! Please click here to check out Ana’s blog and give her a follow, her posts are amazing!
I’ve been on the hunt for a while now, searching for a new favourite cruelty free mascara ever since deciding that I will now only be buying from cruelty free companies. My previous favourites had been the Benefit Roller Lash and the Maybelline Lash Sensation which I used every single day but after discovering that both Benefit and Maybelline test on animals, I will no longer purchase from them.
As you may have seen in the past, me and Ellie from thediaryofellie.com have collaborated on blog posts and as we have become such good friends, we decided to do a blogger box swap where we set a limit of £15 (which we both went over) and we each got to pick out a few options for one another to try out, we also set the criteria that ideally, the products would be cruelty free. I was so excited to do this post as I have never done anything like it before and love buying for other people! If you want to see Ellie’s version of this post where she opens up my parcel to her then click here (and don’t forget to follow her). Continue reading “Blogger Box Swap with Ellie”
On the 26th of May, 2017, me and 3 of my friends attended Swansea’s Biggest Weekend arranged by Radio 1. I had managed to get the tickets a few months ago after seeing the original lineup and being interested on going on the Saturday because of Ed Sheeran headlining. As time went on and loads of new artists got added, I now really regret not also getting to tickets to the Sunday because I’d have loved to have seen Shawn Mendes, Camilla Cabello and many others, however, the Saturday lineup was still amazing and I was so happy when Sam Smith got added as he is incredible!
As I am now coming to the end of my first year of A Levels, I thought it would be interesting to do a talk through of Photography as a subject because I love seeing other peoples work and seeing the topics that they have chosen. Continue reading “Photography A Level Experience”
